Photos: Pop-Up Co-Working Space Sets Up Under A Bridge In DTLA

Remember that crazy co-working space on top of the 5 freeway a few months back? Well, Kailee McGee, our favorite “post-internet artist,” is back with another iteration in her series of pop-up art installations/work stations/experiences. On Wednesday, McGee spearheaded an outdoor co-working “installation” under a bridge downtown and invited intrepid co-workers to set up shop and enjoy the free coffee (Stumptown!), sparkling water (La Croix!) and WiFi (provider unknown!).

The six-hour installation at The Viaduct in the Los Angeles State Historic Park was a collaboration with L.A. discovery app, 5 Every Day. The Viaduct, which is located under the North Broadway Bridge often plays host to cultural events, including movie nights and music shows. The currently-being-renovated Los Angeles State Historic Park will reopen to the public in early 2017.

We look forward to reading all the screenplays born out of the pop-up installation on next year’s Black List.
