July 9, 2014 – The State's Integrated Regional Water Management. This program has been a true catalyst for getting water managers across the state to plan collaboratively on a regional level, according to LA County Public Works Director Gail Farber.  Approved by California voters in 2006, the Safe Drinking Water, Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control, River and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006 authorized over $5 billion for many projects and areas.  This latest grant funding will be distributed across 12 projects in our region.
