Kitchen Community Learning Gardens

Learning Gardens are designed to be catalysts for community-wide behavioral improvements in childhood nutrition, socialization, and student achievement. Learning gardens also inspire children and families to cook and eat at home. And the Kitchen Community believes that gathering around the table and sharing good food is what connects us as family, friends and community. Learning Gardens have been built in some of the largest school districts in the nation, including Chicago Public Schools, Los Angeles Unified School District and Denver Public Schools.
