2014 – Army Corps of Engineers announces the selection of Alternative 20, the most comprehensive alternative in their Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study for the Los Angeles River. 2014 – Lauren Bon and the Metabolic Studio obtain water rights for beneficial use of Los Angeles River water as part of Bending the River Back into the City.

2007 – The City Council adopts the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan (LARRMP) establishing a blueprint for future revitalization of the River.

1997 - First segment of Los Angeles City Los Angeles River Bike Path opens, adding to 17 miles of Los Angeles County Los Angeles river bike trails.
