A place where globally renown visionaries focus attention on the ocean’s challenges and influence solutions by connecting art, ideas, technology, e.t.c.
ocean inspired art:
A place where artists and designers connect with scientists and entrepreneurs to visualize and develop sustainable, healthy and beautiful environments.
Environmental Technology Center (E.T.C.):
E.T.C. will be a center for STEAM education, innovation and civic art, supporting artists with opportunities for fabrication and exhibition
E.T.C. will be constructed using locally sourced, repurposed materials. With spaces dispersed in shipping containers configured like a giant shell covered by solar-shades evoking ship sails, ArtPort@E.T.C. will be a unique educational and civic center for the community at the Los Angeles waterfront, (re)using ordinary materials in extraordinary ways.
